Feed the Children

Malnutrition is linked with the spread of infectious diseases, Low birth weight, Mental retardation, and even death.  This program was started in 2006 to nourish toddler age children (Ages 2-6 years).  Two VERY nutritious and well balanced meals and a snack are served Monday through Friday.  Four full time ladies cook , teach and care for the children.  This gives the older siblings the opportunity to attend school and for the parents to work. 

The cost of Educational Toys, TV/DVD/VCR sets, Educational media, Sleeping mats, Cooking utensils and supplies/food is about $30 per month per child.

Do they eat in a community setting?  Maybe show pictures of the prep area, kids at a table eating.
