Swamp Fox Customs

Since we are in the business of building custom cars, we decided we should have a "Custom car hauler".  Steve is a big fan of TV Tom Ivo and thought his Dodge transport was a pretty cool rig. 

We found a good deal on a 1967 A-100 Camper conversion and jumped in with both feet. 

The idea was to put the van body on a newer Ram-3500 chassis.  While searching for an engine for another project we came across a 1999 Bluebird bus with a Cummins ISB 24 valve Diesel and an Allison automatic transmission.  After much discussion with Cummins Technicians, It was decided that this would be a good starting point.

It is a work in progress and you can watch here as it comes together.

It's a little rough around the edges, but you get the idea.  We still have to come up with a new paint scheme.  The current one is a little TOO different.
