Well, here goes another project.  There seem to be a lot of irons in the fire but when inspiration drops on one project a solution for one of the other ones seems to come up.

We picked this one up in North Carolina.  It is a 1930 Buick Model 47.  We actually got the original Title from 1929.  It's only missing two pieces from the original body.  This is going to be a fun one.

Check out the For Sale page for the pieces we don't use.

Photo credit to Talking Machine 2000 for the side shot of his Model-47 I used for the Photo-Chop.  I'm thinking take a couple inches out of the roof then channel it over the frame rails.  I also want to turn it into a two door with suicide hinges.

To keep the proportions right I removed a couple inches from teh quarters and shortened the length of the doors.  I also decided to see what it would look like with the front axle moved further forward.  It's geting there.

We're getting warmer.  Cut the body, stretch the frame a little, add a set of jump seats.........1930 Buick Club Cab Pick Up.

The plan is to put a 322 Nailhead in with a six two barrel intake and a four speed automatic.  We are looking into converting the Drag-Star intake over to EFI and using the Stromburgs as throttle bodies.  We will be showing Links to all the conversion parts we find and, as with all our projects, offering for sale all the parts that we make.

Anyone interested in a Fiberglass Radiator cover?

  Stay tuned!!
